A space that fits your child
From a little learning corner to a preschool room, we prepare an inviting environment around your children, your goals, and the space you have.
Thoughtfully designed learning spaces that grow with your child. We create the environment, provide the materials, and guide your family along the way. As your child grows, their space grows with them.

Children find new interests as they grow. We choose activities, arrange the space, and show you how to use the materials, then refresh the selection every 6–8 weeks.
See how it worksFrom a little learning corner to a preschool room, we prepare an inviting environment around your children, your goals, and the space you have.
Purposeful, hands-on activities are rented through your membership and exchanged every 6–8 weeks as interests and skills develop.
We introduce the materials to adults and children, demonstrate how to use them, and offer practical guidance along the way.
Your child gets a selection of rented activities chosen for their interests and abilities. As those change, we bring new materials and take the previous selection back.
We get to know your children and choose activities that meet them where they are.
We show you how to introduce each material and support independent, playful learning.
Every 6–8 weeks, materials are collected, checked, cleaned, and prepared for reuse.
We choose the next activities around what your child is interested in and ready to try.
Materials are rented and reused. Setup is a one-time service; ongoing rentals and guidance are part of membership.

A living-room corner, a homeschool area, or a preschool classroom. A useful learning environment starts with the children who use it.
Every child learns differently.
Their environment should reflect that.
Hive & Wonder was founded by two experienced preschool and elementary educators. We bring what we know about children’s learning into the places they spend their days.
Montessori, Reggio Emilia, play-based learning, and traditional early childhood practices inform our work. Your family doesn’t have to choose one philosophy.
